The issues your sales letter - love your product!
However, getting a good sales copy can be one of the most expensive of the sales process when you set up your web site, and the most neglected. Take professional copywriter can be expensive and the masses of ebooks, books and courses you can buy hard to make the task seem daunting. But Randy Smith has come up with an answer that breaks the mold - salesletter ABC.
How does he do?
Well, salesletter ABC is only 34 pages, so it's definitely one of the shortest. It made me wonder if it would do any good. He pack a punch? You bet. It is brilliantly simple.
It includes a model that is used as a guide and simply copy and paste your words (content). This makes it easy to start as everything is in sections - the title, body, PS at the end. Each section has a guide on what should be in it. These are written in simple English, are very easy to understand. There are 10 pages of psychological analysis to fight through.
Most copywriting courses seems to be written for professional copywriters, not people like you and me, let's be honest, just want to get our product sales and our web page set up so that we start making money. Salesletter ABC is written for marketing media. Teaches the basics without assuming that you, the student, have a Masters in English, psychology and business studies!
The first 10 sections of the ebook can be very useful for anyone starting out, and cover some of the basics that professionals take for granted - yet say little or nothing to the novice. I said the explanations are simple? Well they are. No depth - only the answers to fundamental questions such as what font to use, what colors work best, etc.
This for me is the strength of the whole product ... simplicity. Tells you what you need to know how to do the work, and to integrate such things to get best results. But without all the pages and pages of statistics confused! To cram the 10 sections of the model additional 12 sections of tips, advice and information much needed in just 34 pages, shows that is really all meat and no fluff!
Salesletter ABC comes in the form of a zipped file that contains a PDF ebook, sales letter template and a bit 'read the file me.txt that gives simple instructions to get started. We recommend that you get everything prepared before - in Notepad or Word, for example - then follow the instructions in the PDF to copy / paste into your template renamed. While this may seem hard to those of you who have never done this sort of thing before, it's like falling off a log!
When you are done you must use an HTML editor to be ready for the web. There are a lot of free ones (I use about me Page Breeze) and Randy gives a link to NVU. This is also very simple.
Randy has a useful resources section at the end and very polite, not only gives you his contact details but also offers access to a free membership on its site Marketing Beginners. All good stuff.
Conclusion
I believe that if you want to start writing your sales letters you would do well to invest in this product and learn from it. I'm sure he will accomplish the task of completing a sales letter of your own with ease much more than if you buy other more expensive products. Salesletter ABC costs $ 37 and can be found here .......
