Tools for Buyers eBay Snipe - Auction Review Tools
How many times have you lost auction on eBay last possible second? You were there early before the auction closed with a high bid, feeling good. Then the clock strikes 1 minute, and you were still on top, (hey, this is a good looking you think). Maybe even a little bidders put in a couple of offers, but not yet the winner (so far so good).
Then, as the clock strikes 10 seconds auction your heart starts to race (it's almost within your reach), however, as the clock ticks down and the auction closes met with disappointment and a feeling of loss (it appears that the winner really is not you). You missed the auction and especially a lot of wasted time and energy for nothing. Why or how these other bidders get their bid in the last minute and steal the item away from other bidders? Well, they are using the software and tools auction buyer and you should too.
You see, I was playing the game to offer too, that the sellers absolutely love, because I live bidders to drive up the price on items. However, entering a bidding war means you have to actually be online and monitor the auction. It also means that we must "show your hand" (that is, once you overcome you must go to war to increase the supply and demand).
For years I was reluctant to use a service snipe to win auctions on eBay. I do not think you trust or maybe I thought it was cheating. The fact is, however, once I tried it I was hooked. Services such as Snipe justsnipe give you (the purchaser) the ability to place your bid at the last possible second.
What you can do is give the instrument snipe the highest price to pay for the object. As the auction winds down to the last 5-10 seconds the instrument will perform snipe (send) the highest bid for you automatically (and the best current highest bid).
Let's see an example. I recently purchased a 2009 Felt TK3 frame using a track on eBay snipe tool. With a couple of days to go in the auction the price of the frame was up to about $ 150.00, with some suppliers already placing bids. In the old days I would have jumped in on the auction bid. However, now instead of putting up my initial offer and possibly triggering a bidding war (and thus driving up the price), use tools snipes. Then, one day to go at auction for the bike frame, I went to my account justsnipe and entered the maximum amount that I was willing to pay for the object. I entered $ 355.00 as my highest price in the software snipe and leaned back.
This time I was not the poor guy on eBay who had seen the auction for one week, blithely thinking that it was he who would soon open a large window and put together his new fixed gear bike. No, this time I won the auction and also had the frame of felt well below $ 355.00 on my hat, I got $ 249.00.
There are many services out there that snipes eBay buyers can use for free. Many of the websites snipes give a bit snipes off per week, with fewer options than a user fee would, as not being able to adjust the order snipe to less than 8 seconds to go in the auction. Is it really worth trying, though, and so far I have had trouble winning auctions with a free account and my snipe Snipes coming with 8 seconds to go, not just long enough for a live agent to respond and present a ' other offer.
Happy bidding .......
