CNN God's Warriors

"Warriors of God," produced and recently aired on CNN should serve as a wake-up call to anyone asking why the world is in such a state of political turmoil, social and religious. Based on interviews conducted by Christiane Amanpour who has traveled the world to talk to Jews, Muslims and Christians "warriors", the documentary exposes why organized religions are a major disruptive forces of the planet.

As the show said, in their efforts to save the world, these religions have caused deep divisions. While the emphasis was on fundamentalist elements of these faiths, it is clear that even the mainstream is just as responsible for the great religious division. According to Amanpour, fundamentalists in these different faiths have become a political force with the aim to re-do society in their image and bring God back into power over the affairs of men. With a campaign against the anti-modern "i mali, their activities have created unprecedented fear and division.

The key issues raised are clear. If God does not impose his will of humanity, what makes these people think they should do it for God? If everyone acts according to a divine will, then why are killing and condemn the other? There is more of a divine will? In his review of the novel, "Waking God", by Christopher Friesen BookPleasures.com asked: "What if all truth had never been told that it was actually a mosaic of lies? What if every religious institution that preached salvation was in fact an agent of oppression? "These topics are the focus of the novel and are the focal point of Amanpour reporting in" Warriors of God ". It is taught that you can not take heaven by force, yet, is exactly what the fundamentalists seem to preach.

What about the faithful mainstream? Extremism in any religion is denounced by religious leaders. They say they abhor violence. While the words of denunciation is easy, you can surely know them by their actions. What are the religious leaders doing to stop the violence and hatred? It would seem that little has been done. If Muslim leaders condemned the actions of extremists and has threatened to remove the perpetrators of such actions by the faith I guess we would have seen a sharp decline in terrorism. If the ministers of the Gospel proclaimed and actively violent actions a sin condemned these actions, there might be a little hate 'less. The problem is that both Christian and Muslim leaders are trying to spread their ideas and impose their version of moral authority over the rest of the world. Judaism differs from the others in this category. And essentially elitist, Jews do not seek to convert others or to spread their faith. They really want to be left alone to live in peace in what you say is their Holy Land. Yes, they commit violent acts, but not with the intention of converting the world to their faith.

In a book titled "When the church leaves the building," David Frederickson we see that there is a growing movement of those who are spiritually oriented to abandon the religion of their fathers. He asks on their website, familyroommedia.com "It is possible that the Church of Christ has promised to build a much different look than what we now call 'church'?" It is estimated that millions of loyal former left the building in search of a more meaningful and personal relationship with their God The growing contempt for the violence perpetuated by extremists and the lack of action to prevent such action by the religious leaders could one day be their undoing.

Amanpour says that we must take note of the actions of religious extremists, because they have infiltrated and in many cases, control of the political debate in many nations. In my mind, there is no doubt that she is right. These institutions are pitting brother against brother in a power struggle aimed at molding the world in their image. Their actions and words imply that the Divine Intelligence is not able to deal with the affairs of man, or that they are the arm of the intelligence as "Warriors of God". What kind of God needs warriors? What kind of God sanctioning women and children or car bombs to blow up health clinics? And that God is just: the God of the Jews or the God of the Muslims? It makes no sense.

Bestselling author and inspirational speaker, Dr. John Demartini, in an interview printed in the new book, "Jesus taught, Too: The roots of the first Law of Attraction" has had the following to say about religion: "When we make a the religious system, we basically stopped opening the religious heart. If there is a divine order, divine intelligence and divine love and divine wisdom and beauty in everything, then where is God? "It 's clear that" God's Warriors "was not attributed to this philosophy. Their passion for violence, hatred and contempt for those of differing opinions are characterized in their actions and deeds. It 'clear that we need to hear the message that was contained in the report CNN. These people want and have the power and will do everything to spread and impose their ideas on others. As a main character in the novel, "Waking God" says, "This is not to save mankind and has never been." What is needed is a 'great awakening' in which humanity begins to take responsibility for the world we live .......
